Green Bean Jagusia

This suitable for amateurs mid-early variety produces big, green pods. Plant is high (on average 50 cm in high), characterized by stiff stems. Resistant to lodging. Pods are placed very high so they do not touch the ground which may cause them to rot. Jagusia is very tolerant to cold and fungal diseases at the seed germination stage. Pods average 12-14 cm in size and have very little fiber. Moreover, pods are very tasty and do not over-ripen. Seeds are dark purple with mild, unique flavour. Yield is very uniform regardless of the growth conditions. The variety may be also harvested for dry seeds.
