T rumpet vine
Trumpet vine is grown mainly because of its brightly colored trumpet shaped flowers that appear in late summer in clusters of a few. It grows luxuriantly, reaching 6 to 9 m (2 - 4 m per year). It has a very decorative red flowers which are 4-6 cm long. Climbs by means of twining adventitious roots and shoots. Recommended for planting on the southern walls and strong support. Trumpet vine loves sunny places.
BASIC DESCRIPTION:
The tybe and origin of the plant: Multiannual creeper. Plant for growing on fences, arbours, pergolas, trellises, stakes and other supports. Beautiful vine in the garden. Leaves: opposite, length 30 cm, leaves 3-6 cm long, ovate, pointed, yellowish colour in autumn.
Inflorescences: red, a funnel crown length of 4-6 cm. It flowers in August and September.
Fructify: elongated bag, length 10 cm, flat-winged seeds.
Position: in a sunny, warm places, sheltered from the wind.
Frost: in winter it's good to cover the vine by mound of leaves or pine needles sprinkled the ground to a height of 25 - 30 cm.
Multi annual plant in the summer it's good to water it 2-3 times a week.
